4 Months of Life-Heart Surgery
Oct 2 Nox’s case was discussed at primary children yesterday. He has been having a hard time progressing with his oxygen and it was time to have the specialist up north look at everything. We will be going up to primary children’s for him to have a procedure done in the next few days. Sept 2 September is NICU Awareness Month, and I can’t help but reflect on our journey from that very first day to now. No parent ever dreams of their baby beginning life in the NICU—especially for months on end. First Month of Life
July 5th Hi guys! I just wanted to share some of my favorite pictures from the last couple days! Nox has been absolutely amazing and is already making big strides. He is a week old today, they are increasing his feeding to 13mls over 60 minutes, and continuing to wean him off the CPAP. Just like it showed in every ultrasound, he loves sleeping with his hands up by his face and when they don’t have him swaddled up, that’s exactly what he still does! 🩵🩵 Smiling with Dad July

2 Months of Life-On and Off CPAP
Aug 3 Nox hit 5 weeks yesterday! He’s done amazingly on the antibiotics and isn’t having the scary apnea spells anymore. He has an eye exam on Tuesday, where they’ll check to make sure everything is developing correctly. He’s also up to three pounds! Aug 5 Nox had his eye exam today, everything is right on track and they will follow up in two weeks. They will do an ultrasound on his abdomen tomorrow to make sure there isn’t anymore infection. If there is, they will do another
